Adorable Dogs of Bentinck Street
If you are around Bentinck Street, Kolkata, you are sure to spot three brown dogs (Tiger & Tiger with their grandma Lali) playing or snoozing in carton beds outside Sanjiv Singh’s shoe store - Boot Point.
After a litter of five puppies were reduced to two and the Mamma dog killed by a drunk driver late at night, Sanjiv adopted the two with Lali. Also, Hari Bera, who handles his fast-food cart opposite Boot Point, feeds them a stock of his chicken daily.
Their story is an endearing tale of resilience by these girls and small acts of kindness by their caregivers. 🧡
