If I don't have a pet, can I join the HUFT tribe?

Absolutely you can! Being a pet parent is not our criteria to screen anyone. A kind, compassionate heart towards streeties is all we need to stand up for our community animals, together.

If you do not have any previous experience of working towards the welfare of community animals but would love to learn and do it in future, the HUFT Tribe is the right place for you. It will not only educate you about the basics of it through regular masterclasses but also help you volunteer at shelter visits and various drives to gain hands-on experience.

Is there a minimum or maximum age requirement to join the HUFT Tribe?

To become a member of this community, you must be at least 18 years of age. There is no maximum age limit to join, and we welcome members of all ages who share our passion for pets and love of community animals.

What are the benefits of being a member of the HUFT Tribe?

What is the process of turning down/rejecting an application and subsequent re-application?

There is no scoring matrix for the Google Form. The form only helps us understand the person filling it better. There are two open ended questions in this form to help us understand the intent of the person filling the form better. We want the Tribe to consist of members who are well meaning and genuine animal lovers. In case we feel the answers fulfill this subjective criteria, we will get back to the concerned person with further steps for registration.

Any person can fill up the Google Form only once.

Can I invite my friends or family to the HUFT Tribe?

I have heard that RWA in my community is planning to relocate the streeties. Can you help?

Relocating streeties is illegal and punishable under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act of 1960, especially under Section 38 of the Act. Also, as per the Animal Birth Control(Dogs) Rules 2001, dogs cannot be relocated or removed from their territory. We would suggest informing your RWA members of these legal provisions. if that doesn't help, reach out to your concerned local government authorities or write to us at tribe@headsupfortails.com for support

If I sign in as a HUFT Tribe member, would I get help in rescuing animals?

The Tribe can help connect with relevant NGO partners in your region who can offer help and support. In addition, you can reach out to the Tribe admin directly to seek help.

If you need to cancel your HUFT Tribe membership for any reason, please contact our team at tribe@headsupfortails.com . We do not offer refunds as it is a donation towards the welfare of community animals, but we will ensure that your account is cancelled and you will no longer receive any Tribe communication.
